Shillington Project

Grassroots discovery

Massive native silver grades up to 89,853 g/t (2,621 oz/ton) intersected during surface drilling at the Shillington Robinson Zone less than 2 km east of the Fuchsia-Massif shafts.
According to Doug Robinson, P.Eng., “History shows that these richly mineralized shoots are never found in isolation. In this case, modern technology has opened a whole new domain of exploration.”

History

The Robinson Zone discovery is unique in the district as it's a grassroots find of a potential deposit aided by geophysics and a custom built downhole camera.
“The latest drill results bring us closer to a significant expansion of silver resources in the next resource update which we have scheduled for Q1 2022 and which supports our view that Shillington could progress into being a full-fledged mine, producing silver and other metal byproducts such as cobalt and nickel,” President Matt Halliday said in a statement.

Geology

The Robinson Discovery Zone vein shoot has been found 1.9 km east of Castle Shaft #3, and just below the middle of the Nipissing diabase at under-explored Shillington.
The upper and lower portions of the Nipissing diabase in this part of the 78 sq. km property have never been systematically tested, reinforcing the potential for additional deposits beyond the three main mines in the Gowganda Camp that were very active high-grade silver producers last century.
